Windows 10: Cursor problems

Hi,


I recently downloaded a trial version of Alcohol 120% cause I needed an iso making software to backup my dvds into my laptop. However, after installing the program whenever my I hover my mouse to the minimize, maximize and close buttons on the upper right corner, The cursor keeps on blinking along with the red box background that appears when ever the mouse is over these buttons. I don't know what is causing the issue. I tried it on other programs, Adobe reader and Google Chrome, but, the problem doesn't appear. What is causing the problem and should I be worried about the issue?

I tried running a full system scan of my computer cause I'm worried that a virus or malware is the cause but, the scan came back clean.

cursor dissappeared

Thank you both for your prompt replies, I tried all steps listed, some I had tries previously but I still tried them again, but still no cursor.

Do you have any other suggestions?

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
