Windows 10: Cursor spinning forever after clicking on a file in explorer or desktop icons.

It happend to me today that I open explorer and left click & right click on one of the download files then the explorer crashed and I close the tab and tried again and again and the cursor keeps spinning and I cant even close the tab itself only in from the task bar. It also happens when I right click in the desktop icons and it keeps spinning and I cant click any icon again. Please help me fix this problem I've been trying hard to find a way to fix it

After right click on desktop the cursor is spinning/turning around.

Thanks for your reply. But have done this but no result has come. And the problem is not on my file explorer. The problem is on the desktop right click. When the cursor is spinning i have searched another programe and run that. And it was runned properly.
But the cursor is seems somthing is loading. Should i reinstall the windows?? Is is become a solution for this problem??

 

Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer

Now that is interesting. If I do what you suggest, File Explorer Address bar changes to C:\Users\username\documents and the missing ICONS are there. But there is still not a "Desktop" folder.

Is this a step in the right direction?
