Windows 10: Cursor starts lagging after some time of using windows

Hi, I am facing this issue in which my cursor starts lagging after a few hours of use of windows.Also, after restarting my laptop, the cursor starts working fine again.That is the reason I'm reaching out on this community to get help.My touchpad driver is up to date.Can someone explain me how to repair this?I tried a few online articles and they didn't work.It is very inconvinient to restart the laptop in a few hours when I use a lot of programs simultaneously.Specs:OS: Windows 11 HomeWindows Insider: FalseLaptop: Infinix Zero Book 13Ram: 32GBProcessor: Intel i9 13th genStorage: 1TB SSD

cursor lags

plz help when i was moving my cursor the with touchpad or a additional mouse .the cursor lag for couple of seconds or when i was playing a video in my system or in youtube. the cursor is lag and a video isalso lag for second plz help

 

Cursor lagging on my desktop

To help you with your concern, we'd like to suggest checking if there are unwanted applications running in the background. To check this, follow these steps below:

• Right-click on your Start Menu button on the Taskbar.
• Click Task Manager
• Under Processes, close any applications that are running in the background that are consuming resources on your laptop. Select the program and then click
  End Task.
  
• Next click the Details tab, choose the program that is consuming a lot of memory on your computer and then press
  End Task.
• Check if the cursor is responding slowly.

Cursor Lags or Snaps - Not a Mouse Issue

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if that helps.

Method 1: Follow the below steps to uninstall and reinstall the touchpad drivers and check the status.

• Click start and type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press
  enter.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices
• Right click on the touchpad
  driver and choose uninstall.
• Reinstall the drivers from the manufacturer’s website
• Check if it works fine.

Method 2: I suggest you to install the latest mouse drivers for Windows 10 from the manufacturer's website and install
it in compatibility mode and check.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

a) Download the audio drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

b) Right-click on the driver and click on ‘properties’.

c) Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility
mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down.

d) Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’
and run the file to install it.
