Windows 10: Custom built gaming PC. WiFi and ethernet connections both say action needed, no internet....

Please help me, built a custom gaming Pc a few days ago using windows 11 pro OS. It worked perfectly for about a day or so and for about 5 ish days I cannot connect to WiFi or Ethernet connections like I could on the first day. It gives me the message Action needed, no internet. I have tried almost everything at this point and nothing is working for me I am really stumped on how to fix it at this point. Please help urgently.

Issues Connecting Newly Built PC to Ethernet

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section but I'm having issues getting my newly built PC connected to the Internet. I have an Ethernet cord plugged into my modem and into my PC but Windows is not detecting a connection. Any help is appreciated.

If this is of any help, my MOBO is an MSI Z97 Gaming 5.

 

Connecting PC to Ethernet on new startup

My motherboard is a Tuf Gaming B650-plus wifi. I tried connecting it to the internet using the Ethernet cable and it recognizes it, but says “action required”, talking now with my landlord concerning the internet and the connections to Ethernet.

 

NO wifi connection, only ethernet

Background

- I recently got a PC and a screen monitor (Separately). I have a Huawei Mate GT monitor and some custom built beginner gaming PC i got from FB marketplace (Intel CPU, MSI GTX680)

- the seller said i could just connect to the wifi and Bluetooth if i go on settings

Processor = Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz

Now:

- when i try to go on Network & Internet > Status it says "Not connected. You aren't connected to any networks" and not a single wifi connection is listed under "available networks".

- When I click on "Show available networks" it says "change settings, such as making a connection metered"

- When i click on Troubleshoot, it says to plug an "Ethernet cable into the network adapter "Ethernet".

- The problems found claimed to be " an ethernet cable is not properly plugged in or might be broken"

What I've done

- autoconfiguration stuff

- I've gone to the control panel to check properties of my network adapter

- I've restarted my computer multiple times

- done command prompt

How can I connect it to the wifi?? I feel like i'm missing something silly here. I'm not the best at computers so please help me out!
