Windows 10: Custom CPU profiles Windows 10

I've recently played around with android, and android CPU governors and thought "hmm.... can I get something similar on windows?"

I've already tried programs like one key optimiser, that underclocked my intel i5 8250u to 400MHz, but is it possible to create a CPU profile where I set minimum freq to 0.4GHz? and is it possible to make it so 3.4GHz is only allowed in 90secs, then it should automatically throttle down to 2.8GHz (controlled throttling, instead of letting windows handle it)



I hope this is possible, cause after implementing this on my phone... it runs so much better

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Unable to load custom ICC color profile in Windows 10

My monitor requires a custom ICC color profile to display correctly. Under Windows 8.1, I was able to load this using the Color Management utility. After upgrading to Windows 10, the utility appears the same, however, I'm unable to load the profile.

The process I've been using is:

• open Color Management
• Under the "Advanced" tab, click "Change system defaults"
• Under the "Devices" tab, click "Add..."
• Click "Browse..." in the popup window and locate the custom profile file and click "add"

Then nothing happens. Under Windows 8.1, the custom profile would appear under the list of "Profiles associated with this device", but not in Windows 10.

Any fixes for this?
