Windows 10: Custom Created Video is not exporting in Photos App

Hi,

I have created a customised video in Windows 10 Photos App's video editor section. After having created that video, whenever I am trying to export the video it is giving me an error for insufficient memory with an error code 0X8007000E , 2-3 hours after I have kept it for exporting. I have already switched off hardware related acceleration to avoid any audio &/or video quality related issues in exported video.

When I checked online for a solution, it says that this error code is related to windows update related issue and not to photos app. So I then downloaded all updates for windows and installed all of them. Then I tried to export the video again I am getting the same error. Then I tried to uninstall the photos app to re-install the same with whatever latest edition of photos app is available in MS Store. However, uninstall option for photos app is disabled greyed out in settings. Hence, neither I am able to uninstall nor update nor repair nor reset nor reinstall the Photos app. Then, as per one more thread in the discussion forum, I also got all of my relevant drivers also checked for any graphics related memory issues. Even they are also most updated. I have restarted my machine many times meanwhile doing all of above corrective action stuff.

How do I get rid of this issue?

Windows Photos Export Video Project Problem

We understand the difficulties you are facing with the Photos App, while exporting video project. We were able to create and export the video project. So the issue could be with photos app installed in the PC. I would suggest you
to follow the steps mentioned in these methods.



Method 1: Please refer the steps as mentioned in

Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store article.



Method 2: You can also try to re-install the app using PowerShell. Here are steps to re-install photos app:

1. Open PowerShell (Admin). Right click on the start button and then on PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Then type: get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage
   
3. Once the above command is successful. You can install the Photo app from Microsoft Store.

Exporting Video File Created with Windows Photo

While using Windows Photos , to upload a file for sharing , after 'Create Video' , the generated export file , results in a pixelated grid output.

A combination of still photos and video clips. The format is .mp4 and shows where saved in File Explorer Directory. There is sound, but no image.

What further steps are required for successful exporting and playback of created video file??

 

Windows 10 built in photos app not exporting video

Normally the W10 photo App creates a folder within Pictures called Exported videos, this is the location it will save your exported videos to. It might be worth checking to see if this folder was created.
