Windows 10: Custom Keyboard with Extra Keys & Multi-Language Support – Firmware vs Filter Driver?

Hello, I'm working on building a custom hardware keyboard that includes extra keys beyond what standard keyboards offer. I also plan to add multi-language support, which will involve creating custom layouts per language. I have a few questions regarding the implementation: 1. Handling Extra Keys: I want to add custom modifier keys, for example, an additional modifier that works in combination with Ctrl, Alt, etc.How can I assign a unique code to these new keys so that they are recognised correctly by the operating system?Is there a list of unused or reserved scan codes or HID usage codes

The updated Windows 10 may have detected your language, the reason why it automatically gave you the other Thai US keyboard. To correct this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the Start Menu, type in region and language settings and select it.
• Under Languages, select Thai Kedmanee keyboard and click Remove.
• Lastly, add it back by clicking Add a language.

After these steps, your keyboard layout will permanently stay with Thai Kedmanee keyboard.

custom usb keyboard driver development

Hello Everyone,

I am doing a project called Customized USB Keyboard. the project has three aspects one is hardware design and second one is firmware development and the third one is device driver development. out of three aspects, hardware and firmware can be designed. my concern is device driver development.

I would like to develop the device driver for my customized USB keyboard. I am good with c/c++ programming language. can anyone help out steps to follow to develop the customized device driver?

HD7 multi language keyboard

According to the T-Mobile reps, the support for the multi language keyboard on HD7 was removed on purpose. Is there way to restore an original OS on the phone?
