Windows 10: Custom PC not waking up from sleep mode

Discus and support Custom PC not waking up from sleep mode in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; My custom computer doesn't wake up from sleep mode whenever I try to wake it up.     Custom PC not waking up from sleep mode


    My custom computer doesn't wake up from sleep mode whenever I try to wake it up. It's a problem that started a few weeks ago, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to resolve it. I tried everything I've could, and I think I might have a lead. I was able to wake the computer up from sleep mode only once after changing the power settings in device manager for the Human Interface Devices, Keyboards, Mice, and USB, along with turning off Window's 10 sleep mode via the Command Prompt. For some reason, trying to change the power options again doesn't get sleep mode working for me again. If anyone has a better idea as to the actual problem I'm facing, please let me know what I can do.

    PC STILL not waking up from sleep mode

    Hi ,,my pc in not waking up from sleep mode and after closing the lid ..this is the FIFITH time I post here at the Community... every time I post my problem I get different solutions from running commands on the CMD and changing the power plan to
    troubleshooting the power and updating the drivers ...I've tried every single solution you guys have provided me with and STILL my PC doesn't wake up from sleep ..every time I have to hold and press the shutdown button to shutoff the laptop and then press
    again the open it...it's really frustrating ..and by the way this problem occurred right after upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1.... some solutions have worked for a day or two but then the same problem starts happening again...please please provide
    me with a solution that'll solve this problem completely ....I really like Windows 10 and I don't want to get back to windows 8.1...

    Please help ...

    Thanks for the advice, but both methods 1 and 2 did not work for me.

    To review, not waking up from sleep mode only started happening after upgrading to Windows 10.

    Method 1 - The power trouble shooter offered a fix to shorten the time before putting my PC to sleep (which is not the issue). And when I chose pursue additional options, nothing else was suggested.

    Method 2 - I checked and both my mouse and keyboard were already set to be able to wake my computer. (But they do not work)
