Windows 10: customize Keyboard repeat count

There is keyboard repeat rate and delay but there is no repeat count. Tried to search for a solution but no luck. Basically what i want is for example if i press and hold X it keeps repeating like XXXXXXXXXXX until i stop,but what i want is to control the number of times it repeats. If i want it to repeat 4 times, then when i press and hold X it should be like XXXX and stop and if i want more then i can repress X to continue. There should be a way where i can be able to customize the number times or counts it repeats. This will be really helpfull and i hope someone out there can come up with

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard driver. Follow the steps to uninstall & reinstall the keyboard driver from device manager.

• 
  Press Windows key + X from the
  Keyboard and click on Device Manager.
  
• 
  In Device Manager, double click on the
  Keyboard.
  
• 
  It will show you the device driver name, select that device and then right click on it.
  
• 
  Click on Uninstall button.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, the drivers will get automatically installed on your Windows 10.
  
• 
  Repeat the same for Mice and other pointing devices.

I have added the file count column to my folder in File Explorer. However, the actual file count is not displaying.

• How did you added file count column for folders in File Explorer? What are the steps did you followed?
• When you say, "actual file count is not displaying" is this issue specific to any folder or happening with all folders?
• Have you installed any third party anti-virus on your system?

• Open File Explorer.
• Click on View from navigation pane and choose Detail pane.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I uninstalled the keyboard and mouse drivers as you recommended, then restarted, but the keyboard repeat rate is still slow and I cannot change it with keyboard settings. Any other suggestions? Many thanks. Joe
