    CUSTOMIZE MEDIA SHARING FOR ROKU

Hello everyone, I hope you guys can help me and respond quick lol

I just bought A Roku device, and I noticed I can stream media from my laptop to the device. but I ALSO noticed the computer had to be on. So I wanted to know if I can "customize sharing" so that when the computer is sleeping it can be still be able to be accessed.

Or if there is another app where I can stream media to the Roku while the computer is off, that would be better. I guess the program would have to have some type of cloud so it can save all the media I have.

    :)

    Roku screen mirror problems

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing all the steps you have perform to fix the issue.

To narrow down the possible cause of this issue, we suggest that you disable your anti-virus temporarily to make sure that it is not blocking the connection between Roku streaming stick and your PC.

We are looking forward to your reply.

  3. customize share option

    Hi MD,

Thank you for posting your query to Microsoft Community.

Based on your concern, I see that you would like to customize the share options in the new Windows 10 update.

To help us isolate this, kindly provide us the following information for us to come up with the best resolution.

    • May we have a screenshot of the build of your computer? To check, refer to the steps below:
    • On your keyboard, press Windows key + R.
    • Type 'winver', and then press Enter.

    • Which update are you exactly referring to? Is it Windows Update?
    • Have you checked the share options if your preferred options were available?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Cannot connect to ROKU devices

I am having another issue with the Microsoft Lumia 950...

The Lumia cannot recognize any ROKU devices through bluetooth or the ROKU app. It has only been able to recognize the device once. I have restarted the phone which did not help. I contacted customer support but they said they can not help.

    Any suggestions?
