Windows 10: Cut, Copy, and Paste not working

    Cut, Copy, and Paste not working


    Asking a question about my son's Lenovo laptop. Cut, Copy, and paste not working. Other hotkey combos that I know appear to be working correctly. This is an issue in Google docs, Word, Notepad, and other programs. I can access his clipboard with CTRL + V and see the history, and if I use the right click option I can copy, cut, and paste. But CTRL X, C, and V do nothing. When I enter Task Manager there is no rdpclip.exe listed; i can add it as a new task but if i restart the system it disappears again. i have run all kinds of scans and done command lines in powershell and have found no errors. Can anyone help?

    cut copy paste not working

    how do I enable cut copy and paste in windows 7? they are greyed out.

    Provide us with the information below to help you better.

    • Which build is currently running on your computer?
    • Did you make any recent software/hardware changes to your computer?
    • Is the copy/paste functioning not working fro particular application or on whole computer?
    • How are you using copy/paste option via right click or keyboard shortcuts or via edit menu within the application?
    • Is the issue specific to a file format or all the file formats?

    Suggest you to use the copy/paste using shortcuts that is Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V to copy cut and past respectively.

    Also install all the pending updates on your computer, restart your computer and check if it helps.

    Cut, Copy, and Paste not working

    Can not cut or copy and paste multiple files

    In windows 10 I can not cut or copy and paste multiple files from one location to another like I use to be able to in Windows 8. It seems to copy/cut one of the files but then stalls and never moves the other files that are selected. Any suggestions? Thanks!
