i am trying to install power media player but it is not showing after installation

Issue with using Cyberlink media player

This issue may occur if the
Cyberlink media player is corrupt.

Method 1:

You may try to uninstall and reinstall the Cyberlink media player and check if it works. To uninstall the software follow these steps:

• 
  Right-click on
  Start Button and click on Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Right-click on the
  Cyberlink media player and click on Uninstall.
  

Note: Make sure you have the installation media for
Cyberlink media player before uninstalling it.

Method 2:

Additionally you may also use Windows DVD Player App to play DVD's. To be eligible for the free DVD Player app, you must upgrade your Windows 7,
Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 computer rather than perform a clean installation. If you’re running an edition of Windows 7 or
Windows 8 that doesn’t include Media Center and you upgrade to
Windows 10, go to Windows Store to buy Windows DVD Player or another app that plays DVDs. Provided your computer has an optical disc drive, Windows DVD Player will play DVD movies (but not Blu‑ray Discs).

CyberLink Power Media Player 14 not playing video, but in the background audio is played on Windows 10.

The above issue might have occurred due to the following reasons:

• Presence of virus/malware content on the PC.
• Non-updated application on the PC.
• Corrupted/missing application components on the PC.

Before we assist you further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• Did you make any recent changes to the PC?
• Did you check if similar issue persists on using other media players?
• Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the application?

Scan the PC for the presence of virus/malware by running the antivirus security software. Run the antivirus security software twice to detect and confirm the presence of malware/virus on your PC. Check for the status of the
scan to view the presence of virus/malware.



If the issue persists, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the application on the computer and check if the issue is resolved.

CyberLink Power media player

I just purchased the CyberLink Power media player app on PC to active the full version of the app. Does it suppose to email me serial numbers??
