Windows 10: Cygwin can't execute Windows binary … command not found even though the path is correct

I've just installed Cygwin & Python 3.9 to Windows 10. Both are working just fine.

However, when I try to execute python in Cygwin, I'm getting command not found
error.

wolf@win10 ~ $ python3 -bash: python3: command not found

Anyway, I've already installed python2.7 before, so python command will execute python2 in Cygwin while the same python command in windows cmd will execute python3.9

python.exe full path

wolf@win10 ~ $ ls -l 'C:\Users\wolf\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python39\python.exe' -rwxr-xr-x 1 wolf None 101432 Dec 7 18:12 'C:\Users\wolf\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python39\python.exe'

command not found error when I tried to execute it.

What is the right way to execute Python in Cygwin?

GPU-Z what command line parameter ?

Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile

 

Add a path to $PATH?

Yeah, I think you're right. I think the purpose of the echo command was to check if ~/bin was in the $PATH file. My problem is that I can't decipher the output and I don't know how to add ~/bin to the $PATH file.

Just for clarification, the snippet of instructions I gave is just a few steps in the installation process. Nothing is actually supposed to be installed with those steps.

3D Detection - Execute Command

Hello,

I use ATITool 0.27B1 on Windows Vista, and have a little problem with the Execute command in the 3D Detection.

I manage to play a sound when loading a 3D Application, but no way to use the Execute command.

Have you a solution for me?
