    Cygwin, I have problems even installing it this time!


    Esta é uma pergunta para o Cygwin virtuosi. Tentei quatro vezes instalar o Cygwin usando o programa que baixei do Cygwin.com. Eu acho que é chamado de setup-x86_64.exe.


    Cada uma das quatro vezes, no final da instalação, aparece uma caixa que informa, sem incerteza, quais arquivos não podem ser instalados, o motivo da não instalação (ainda é um mistério para mim).


    E continua dizendo: "isso não quer dizer que seus programas não funcionem ... mas quando eu tentei, e faço isso toda vez que instalo o Cygwin, ele nunca teve esse tipo de progresso.


    Eu sempre tento executar hortelã, a caixa de bash com a qual estamos todos acostumados. Dessa vez, as caixas Cygwin / Mintty apareceram com linhas coloridas na parte superior da tela, dizendo "você precisa refazer a selagem ou a rebase (acho que esta usa um diretório como argumento)."


    O que, se alguma coisa, estou fazendo de errado? Só instalo os programas padrão no site quando chego lá. Não adiciono ou subtraio nenhum programa ou arquivo. No entanto, com essa seleção, minhas caixas de balas / menta estão ficando loucas!


    Existe uma maneira alternativa de instalar o Cygwin - a configuração básica? Ou isso acontece com muitas pessoas?


    Por favor, responda a esta postagem. Fui aconselhado a não colocar nenhum dado pessoal no fórum que me identificasse.

    I understand that you are unable to launch Cygwin in 64-bit computers. We would like to know what happens when you try to launch Cygwin.



    I would suggest you to refer the section 2.15 What is setup fails?

    If the issue persists, I suggest you to contact the Cygwin support. Please refer

    Cygwin installation stops in make step

    POSIX accounts, permission, and security

    in short:

    close all Cygwin Terminal and restart it.

    Disclaimer: building gcc is for expert; I suggest you to start with a much simpler project.

    Update from the comments

    1. Once the above steps are completed, move the build-gcc-6.1.0 and
      gcc-6.1.0 folders to /home/prasanna folder
    2. Run the make -j4 and now (from /home/prasanna folder)it should run without any problems

    cygwin fails with dll rebase problem. Complete cygwin reinstall fails


    cygwin is required for my environment.
    It's been working fine with the Win10 beta releases.
    Is there a quick fix available ... otherwise I have to revert to beta quickly.

    July 30 Updates resolved the problem.
