Windows 10: "D:\ Acess is denied" to any and all external drives USB

Every single drive I put into my Lenovo Yoga I can't acess. I have tried every solution like ->properties->security->advanced->change->pc name-> and then give myself permissions and I get the message "Error applying security: D:\ Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied."



I then went on to powershell as admin and used command get-disk and it did pick up the USB flashdrive, then I tried to access it and I got "set-location : Access is denied" and honestly I don't even know what to do anymore.

External Hard Drive Acess Denied on Windows 10

Method 1:
Check whether the external hard disk is detected in Device Manager, right click on it and click on
Uninstall the drivers. Plug in the external hard drive again so that Windows automatically installs the drivers. Check if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, go to the External hard drive in Windows Explorer, right click on it and select
Properties. Click on the Security tab and then click on
Edit and click on Add and type Everyone
and press enter. Select Everyone from the list and place a check mark in Full control. Press
apply and ok and check if you are able to access the External hard drive.
Method 2:
If you are still unable to access your hard drive, I suggest you to refer to the steps mentioned in the following link and try to take the ownership and check:

Installing to a second Drive. D: or external (Non Boot up Drives)

We understand your concern as you are looking for an option to move the game location from the C drive to the Drive D, which is an external drive.



In this scenario, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check if that resolves your issue on both laptop and Desktop.

1. As usual install the game on the PC’s in
   C Drive.
   
2. Insert the external
   D drive to the PC.
   
3. Press Windows + I key from the keyboard to launch
   Settings.
   
4. Select Apps and click on
   Apps & features from the left pane.
   
5. Search for the installed game from the list on the right pane.
   
6. Single click on the game and select
   Move.
   
7. Select the D drive under
   Choose a drive where you want to move the game.
   
8. Restart the PC with the external drive connected and then launch the game.

Acess denied to internal drive of my computer

My laptop with windows 10 operating system created a new drive on its own of 256 Mb and every time i try to open it it shows acess denied click continue to gain full acess but i dont noe what to do next. Help?
