Windows 10: D:\ drive always disappeared after updated to newest Window 10 Version

I am having some problem with my desktop Window 10. D:\ drive in PC got missing after updating to the newest Window 10 version. I restarted the PC after updating,D:\ is not available. pop-up and the D: drive disappeared, it did not show in the device manager as well. But when I use 'shut down' instead of'restart', the D:\ appeared and working perfectly until I tried to upload images on Gumtree. It shows'D:\ folder is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error' when I tried to get images off from my folder. And then I tried to restart the PC and again it pops upD:\ is not available.

All the driver and system is up-to-date, also tried to go to disk management, the page cannot be load and the pc stop working. Failed to open 'File Explorer' and data cant be transfer. I can't recover my pc to the previous version as I forgot backup.


Is there anything I can do to fix this?

D Drive Disappeared

My D Drive just disappeared. Using Windows 10. anyone have any suggestions on how to find my disk?

I am a college student and need my drive quickly

 

D: Drive Suddenly Disappeared

I have seen this command before, though I've never used it much, other than to list the disks. I indeed only have 1 2TB drive. However, it's gone again. And even though I tried to list the disks, only C: appeared.

I'll try to open the box tomorrow and see if I can make it appear again.

So, I did a diskpart and then I was able to use the drive again, format it and it's now the same way I bought it (software-wise at least). I also made sure all drivers were up to date (just in case).

However, when it comes to Western Digital's disk test, it still fails for the same reasons. The disk is currently empty, so it's indeed a hardware problem. The cables are all good, so it's the drive itself I guess.

Any other suggestions maybe?

So, I did got no different results from the test, but I saw this. It seems this is the only fail it gives in this results window.
