Windows 10: D Drive completely gone

Hey i Installed Mortal Kombat 1 and on 3rd day of playing the game i shut my pc down after playing it and when i turned my pc back on a few hours later my D drive was completely gone ive tried rescanning and it never shows up. Im not sure if this helps but my Pc was making clicking sounds for months before i got the game.

D Drive is gone.

My D:/ drive is completely gone. i've rescanned disks, tried resetting (failed) tried a fresh install (also failed), i've tried automatic repair (another fail). Can anyone help me?

 

Cannot access D drive since upgrading to Windows 10.

  Is the D: drive located on the same hard disk or on different hard disk?

  Did you have any important data saved on the
  D: drive?
  

If the D: is saved on another hard disk and you are unable to access it, I suggest you to format the drive completely and check if the issue is resolved.



To format the hard disk, follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Disk management option.
  
• 
  Right click on the D: drive and select
  Format option.
  
• 
  Wait for the formatting to complete and check if the changes are effective.
