Windows 10: D drive going missing continuously

My D drive went missing during a forced shut down and there was no way to get it to appear. then it mysteriously appears. on updating my windows 10 its disappeared again. Is there anyone who can get my internal hard drive to stay and not be categorized as a removable drive.

Have you observed this issue in BIOS? If not, I would suggest so. I suspect the issue is more on the hardware side, by checking to see if D drive is also missing in BIOS can help confirm that.
