Windows 10: D Drive missing

Installation of Windows10 on my laptop has stopped me from accessing my d:drive hdd.

I can see the driver listed for the d:drive but no files are showing and i cannot get access to the d:drive at all.

It looks like the d:drive doesnt exist even though all the other drives are appearing.

Im desperate to locate the d:drive... please can anyone advise... ive been trying to find a solution for over 12 hours now!!!

• Type Command prompt in the search bar.
• Type-in the following command:
  
  attrib -h -r -s /s /d D:\*.*
• Press Enter to execute the command.

If you think that there is nothing important stored in it, then we suggest that you reformat your D drive so that you can use the free space for important files.

You can follow the steps below to start with the process:

• Click on the File Explorer.
• Select This PC.
• Right-click on your D drive, then click on Format.
• Follow the on-screen process to finish formatting the partition.

Woke up to a missing D Drive

I keep my files on a D Drive (Internal Hard Drive) on a Dell Desktop

I woke to have the entire drive either deleted or missing

Under Disk Management it DOES NOT show up

I DONOT have a restore point unfortunately

Please walk me through steps to get this back
