Windows 10: D Drive shows File System As Raw

Hi AllMy D drive shows file system as RAW & not NTFS. I m not sure how it changed & it has data which I don't want to format it.I tried below-a convert D: /fs:ntfsGot message-CONVERT is not available for RAW drives.b chdsk- Same message that RAW drive cannot be converted.c Tried few tools too like EASEUS but success.Any other option?RegardsPankaj

Windows 10 Creators Update 1703 converted D drive to RAW filesystem

I made no change to any of may hardware. The drive I am using is a Crucial_CT512MX100SSD1 drive. I will contact Crucial.

UPDATE: they suggested I'd run chkdsk D: /r But this did not work on a RAW dirve. This is what I got:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk D: /r

The type of the file system is RAW.

CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives.

They suggested I'd use a data recovery tool, but I am only getting .SWF files. My original D drive did not have these files. This is what it looks like. (Note: I get the same if running it on the D drive -- L is a copy of the D partition)





Something to note: My computer takes 2.7 minutes to boot. It use to boot in 42 seconds. Booting from hibernation takes 2 minutes, and that use to take 8 seconds. I had that problem for about 5 month now, but I think it is not related. (Or is it?)

My CDROM is suddenly showing as RAW

Hi All,

I don't know how or why but Windows 10-Pro stopped recognizing anything I put into my CD Drive even though it was shown in Disk Mgmt as healthy.

I found out that a RAW Disk can't be recognized by Windows, so I tried multiple suggestions I read about and kept getting something to the effect of "Windows can't do anything with a protected drive". In Disk Management it lists Disks 0 - 9 and then CD-ROM
0, In Disk Part it lists Disks 0-9 also but no CD. When I list Volumes in Disk Part it lists 0-14, with 0 being DVD-ROM with RAW file system.

How can I reformat the CD drive when Windows tells be it can not access the disk?
