Windows 10: D drive suddenly missing?

Yesterday I went to play a game I had on steam which was installed onto my D drive. I realized that the icon for the game just showed the white piece of paper with the corner folded, and upon clicking on the icon it said that the application was not found. The steam icon was also replaced by this piece of paper, and upon clicking on steam it read "The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'Steam.lnk refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again." Also, when I go to This PC in the file explorer, only the C drive shows up. I've already tried rescanning the disks in disk management, but it still doesn't show up. I have an MSI GL62M 7REX laptop running Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have installed windows 10 a few weeks ago and suddenly it does not see drive D: It lists only drive C: and DVD E: I have stoked up device manager and looked at disks, there is only one physical disk listed. I have all my data on drive D:

My D drive went missing

Out of nowhere, my D drive went missing. I was just doing my regular stuff since morning and in morning it was there and now it suddenly disappeared. Please help!!!!!!
