    Hello all, I tried searching videos and found one that it worked for many but unfortunately it did not work for me.



    C:\Users\randy>chkdsk /f D:
    Access Denied as you do not have sufficient privileges or
    the disk may be locked by another process.
    You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode
    and make sure the disk is unlocked.


    This didnt work for me. What else can I do? I have 1tb of free space that I want to use.

    Windows 10 - Folder on SSD "The File Or Directory Is Corrupted and Unreadable"

    Hello,
    It says :"The File Or Directory Is Corrupted and Unreadable", when trying to open a recently created folder on the second SSD drive (D), after moving many files from SSD drive(C) to that newly folder, I was never able to access that
    folder, first time I tried it said that error message.
    On properties, general tab, it says Size: 0 bytes and Size on disk: 0 bytes
    What possible steps could one take to recover the files? (Already tried running chkdsk /f d: on CMD)
    What could have caused this? Thanks
