    D:\ is unshrinkable past 10GB due to UsnJrnl. Is there any way to fix this?


    I am trying to partition my SSD in hopes of dualbooting linux. I have all the critical files, and the OS itself on my C:\, so I was surprised when I could only shrink my D:\ down by 10GB. I followed the instructions that Disk Mgmt gave me and found the defrag log, and upon running the command it spat out the following outputPS C:\WINDOWS\system32> fsutil volume querycluster "\\?\Volume{ba8a5af6-ccf6-11ef-9156-bcc7469cf065}" 0xe635f87>>Cluster 0x000000000e635f87 used by -S--D \$Extend\$UsnJrnl:$J:$DATAWhat do I do now?     Windows Explorer Copy and Paste problems

    Hi,

    The copy/paste problem could be due to Windows Explorer issue or faulty keyboard.

    Wewould like to know some information to better isolate the problem:

    • Is the issue also happening when trying to copy/paste any Office files, or is it only happening in Windows Explorer?
    • Have you tried other ways like; right-click + Copy, then right-click + Paste?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Best thermal paste

    Most decent thermal paste is about all the same (1-2 degree difference). Without knowing the two listed, (I use MX-2), I would suggest going with the one that is non-conductive.
