Windows 10: D/Led win10 anniversary update...stuck in safe mode

everything went smoothly the restarts and all....but after the final restart my PC has been stuck in Safe Mode and I have no clue how to get it back to regular mode. I've tried the win+r and checking the safe mode box on the boot tab, and that didn't work. also tried Command promp admin atthat also didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated ...I am going coo-coo here.

Windows 10 Update hangs on startup, saying 100% completed

As described in my question, I had already attempted booting into safe mode, and it led me back to the "100% complete" screen. (That means, Windows would not enter safe mode, but instead attempt to install updates again, getting stuck at the "100% complete"
screen.)

 

Laptop not working

1. When (approx. date) was Win10 Anniversary Update (AKA Win10 Version 1607) installed?

2. Was Win10 Anniversary Update (AKA Win10 Version 1607) offered & installed via Windows Update or did you install it manually, too?

3. When (exact dates) were KB3206632 and KB3199986 (assuming it's listed) installed according to
Installed Updates (not Update History)?

4. Is it still necessary to start the computer in Safe Mode or are you working in normal (Windows) mode now?

 

Sounds like a failed upgrade. You may need to revert to your previous version to Windows.

Click start
Click settings
Click update and recovery
Click recovery
Click, return to previous build.

Probably a corrupt file in the BCD causing this, but if it boots into safe mode acting like a normal boot, then something is definitely corrupt.

If you open the run command, and type msconfig, you could check to see if "Normal Startup" is selected while in safe mode.

This is an odd issue. I've never seen it happen before.
