  1. D3D11 CreateDeferredContext Error without ever creating a deferred render context.

I get the following error message in my output window :-

D3D11 ERROR: ID3D11Device::CreateDeferredContext: Creation of a Device with D3D11_CREATE_DEVICE_SINGLETHREADED prevents the creation of deferred contexts. [ STATE_CREATION ERROR #2097162: CREATEDEFERREDCONTEXT_SINGLETHREADED]

D3D11 ERROR: ID3D11Device::CreateDeferredContext: CreateDeferredContext returning DXGI_ERROR_INVALID_CALL, meaning the function can not be used. [ STATE_CREATION ERROR #2097164: CREATEDEFERREDCONTEXT_INVALID_CALL_RETURN]

I searched the entire solution, but I am not calling CreateDeferredContext method anywhere and not including any files or dlls that might be calling into it. I get that error message after I call swapchain present method 3-5 times , it's a bit random and not fixed. This in turn causes fake memory leaks to pop up in my output window which were not present earlier. This started happening after the latest windows update but rolling back those update changes made no difference. Now the Deferred Context Creation error should not even be present but the fake memory leaks that are a by product of it makes memory leak tracking harder.

    :)

    d3d11.dll Issue

    Hello,

I was trying to run an program on Windows 10, and it's giving me an error: "Could not load d3d11.dll".

Troubleshooting steps I have taken so far:

    • Installed the latest version of Microsoft DirextX - downloaded from Microsoft website
    • Installed all the updates from Windows update
    • Check the path C:\\Windows\\system32\\ - the file is there
    • updated graphic's driver - from Intel website
      • reinstalled the driver
    • reinstalled the software that was giving the error.
but the issue is still not fixed

  3. D3D11.DLL Crash

    Hello Steve,

Sorry for the inconvenience you are facing. Can you share when exactly are you getting this error?

D3d11.dll errors are most commonly caused when two programs share the same .dll file. When a program is deleted sometimes it will delete the .dll file associated with both programs. Errors can also occur from a faulty d3d11.dll file or incorrect versions
of the file. I suggest you to uninstall the programs you have installed recently and check if you get the error.

Let us know how it goes.

D3D11 CreateDeferredContext Error without ever creating a deferred render context.

"audio renderer error. please restart your computer" error youtube

    And another thing to try:
Update your audio drivers (strange that this would be necessary as there hadn't been any changes for me; but it usually is a good idea to have the latest drivers anyway).
Note: We did have a PC whose audio stopped working and a BIOS update solved it. This definitely wasn't the root of the problem for that computer because it was working like normal before and there were no apparent changes (and the user didn't have administrative access). I'd recommend this as a last step. I've never had a problem with a BIOS update but prefer to do it only if there is a useful fix (and of course better to back up before).

Here's another solution that someone posted:
Audio renderer error. Please restart your computer.
I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked
note: make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled
< I don't know if this is necessary but that's what the poster suggested. - >

    1.Go Open up device manager
    2. Go under sound, video, and game controllers
    3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
    4. Right click and hit update driver
<< I would think just updating the driver would probably work, but if not (for instance if it's up-to-date) then you could try the following steps as well. - >>
    5. Browse my computer for driver software
    6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
    7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
    8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
    9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
    10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
