Windows 10: Dad left an hpd7 then died. Forgot to leave password or discs or flash drive. What do I do?

I've tried every possible thing I can think of. Now just shuts off and on but displays an error message so fast I can read it.Please help

Forgot Admin password

I forgot admin password on windows 7 home premium. I am the only user on pc. Without password i can't back up files so I can transfer everything to a new windows 10 at a later date. I do not have win 7 install disc or usb flash drive with password reset.
Without reboot disc or admin password I don't know what to do. Please help me or all is lost......
