    Hello, Microsoft community.

    I recently started mining ETH February and all was well. Since March 06 I've started having BSOD most nights. Strange enough sometimes the miner runs fine for 2-3 days, but then I stop to game and I am back to daily blue screens. I have read my minidump files, but I am not tech savvy enough to really understand what the problem is.


    I am running the following:

    Windows 10

    Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z390-H Gaming

    RAM: Crucial 3600mhz DDR4

    CPU: I9 9900k OC to 5.0ghz been stable for over 2 years

    GPU: RTX 3080. It is default settings most times and underclocked for mining. Once again it was mining fine at my underclock for about 2 weeks before my problem started
    Sound Card: Sound Blaster ae5

    From my basic understanding, the first 2/3 dumps are from my new RAM got in December. I did the system memory checker last night and it had no error. This morning I used DDU to get new Nvidia drivers. If any more information is needed let me know. I'm not sure it matters, but I use nanominer for mining.

    BSOD DPC_Watchdog_Violation daily

    Those steps are not relevant to me. In those steps it asks to check the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers for iastore.sys in the listed drivers.

    I do not have iastore as a driver nor is that the files causing the BSOD.

    The driver that is causing it (I got this from BlueScreenView) is nvstore.sys which is listed as the driver for three identical items in 'storage controllers' There are 4 items there. 3 of them are called NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller. Those three
    all list this nvstore.sys as their driver.

    I suspect that if I could replace or fix that driver it would solve the issue based on the advice given by Annanya. Does that sound right? If so, how would I go about it?

    I have tried all of the options there, Which is why i included in my post the lists of things that i performed to isolate the cause of bsod. Thanks
