Windows 10: Daily BSOD

Almost daily BSOD after upgrade from Win 8.1 to Win 10. This is a different laptop than my other posts in this forum.

You may get help by asking questions in the Nvidia forums. The problem for me is that I do not know how to locate the latest nvstor driver on the Nvidia web site:

Thanks for the reply. Any possible workarounds or suggestions? If Windows 7 is the best option that's what I'll probably do but I'm willing to try some workarounds if there are any.

 

Before we test the RAM can you uninstall Avast and and use native Defender coupled with MalwareBytes.



Note Make sure you uncheck the 'Enable Free Trial' box when installing.

Avast is definitely causing issues, but there may be a hardware problem (possibly RAM, possibly the hard drive). Test the system with Avast removed and we'll see how it goes, it's possible that Avast is throwing up false positives when it comes to hardware.
