  1. Daily BSODs; started about a week ago

Hi, I started having daily (sometimes multiple times daily) BSODs that started about a week ago. It seems like the stop codes for these are different every time. Here are some that I have captured: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR UNEXPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE My device is an LG Gram 17 laptop with 16 GB of memory running Windows 10 Home 20H2, build 19042.1110. I ran the v2 Log Collector, and uploaded the files to Google Drive here: DESKTOP-KNKQ032-(2021-07-19_15-35-51).zip - Google Drive I would greatly appreciate any assistance provided on this! Thanks!

    :)

  2. BSODs start from a week ago

    Hi there!

My dell XPS 13 started randomly crash since a week ago. Sometimes it happened from boot, sometimes it happened when waking from hibernation. Sometimes it happened when I was using it.

I followed the online wiki about posting problems on BSOD. The required files are included below. For the computer specification, I thought the MSinfo contain them. Mine is DELL xps 13, bought last November and had functioned all right until last week.

Thanks in advance for any possible help!

    Edited:

I checked online and found someone with similar problem as me: bfe.dll causes the crash with Macfee firewall installed. I unable the firewall and still wait to see whether it will crash again.

BSOD related to Base Filtering Engine

Yet another question: I check the dfe.dll file and found it was updated 3.29 when I didn't see any updates in the
"View Your Update history" at that time. Also, the "previous version" tab of the 3.29-modified
dfe.dll shows nothing. Could it be a virus change the library? I used
sfc /scanfile" and it showed no violation. Still confused about the cause of BSOD.

Follow up on a thread from a week ago - 3rd BSOD in the past month

    Hello,
So I have posed a week or so ago: Two different BSODs in the past week

I did what was asked of me (updating the drivers) but the BSODs keep coming. Granted it's a different one this time.

So I received IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL and I'm not sure whats up.

Here is my V2 log: Attachment 290552
Here is my BlueScreenView screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/S4rEymF.png

    My Specs:
MB: Asus TUF B450M Plus Gaming
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 Super
    Running Windows 10 2004

    • I updated all of my drivers using Driver Booster Pro
    • No new drivers in AMD's website.
    • Ran sfc /scannow which found stuff and fixed them
    • dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth didn't find anything

Any help would be great Daily BSODs; started about a week ago :)

    BSOD DPC_Watchdog_Violation daily

Those steps are not relevant to me. In those steps it asks to check the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers for iastore.sys in the listed drivers.

I do not have iastore as a driver nor is that the files causing the BSOD.

The driver that is causing it (I got this from BlueScreenView) is nvstore.sys which is listed as the driver for three identical items in 'storage controllers' There are 4 items there. 3 of them are called NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller. Those three
all list this nvstore.sys as their driver.

I suspect that if I could replace or fix that driver it would solve the issue based on the advice given by Annanya. Does that sound right? If so, how would I go about it?
