Windows 10: DAMAGED WINDOWS PRODUCT KEY

so i bought a new pc and it came with the windows disc but the assemblers did not open the product key they simply installed windows. when i got it. i peeled off the slip where i was meant to scratch "gently" to reveal the windows product key. i tried contacting the assemblers and they said theres nothing they can do to retrieve my product key except to contact microsoft directly, its been weeks now and my windows still is not activated and microsoft does not respond to all the cases i opened. is there anyone who can help me? i cant buy another copy. if my issue isnt resolved i would have to "

My product key sticker is damaged and not able to read product key. Bar code numbers are readable and can provide it. This product is for Windows 7 would like to use to upgrade windows 10.

Can you please suggest?
