    Dark mode/invert color of mobile app installed through store


    Hi!
    I have dark mode set up, code every day on dark mode, have dark reader set up on the browser, etc. For the next week or so, I will have to stare at this particular mobile app installed through the store that does not have a dark mode. I have looked into using magnifier/invert colors on docked mode, but I couldn't figure out a way to have it sit in front of the app and actually let me click and use the app at the same time. Is there a way to do that?

    Is there a third-party app I could use to make just one window or app dark? I've tried a few options that invert the whole desktop, but that's not ideal since most of my other stuff I'll be using is already on dark mode.

    inverted colors

    I use regularly inverted colors but when you are in dark modus fotos are inverted too. Is there a possibility to make an exception for fotos?

    I am sorry, your screenshot does not show the inverted colors you are referring to, can you please provide a screenshot of a window showing the inverted colors . . .

    In the meantime:

    Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to Ease of Access - High Contrast

    Make sure no High Contrast theme is set

    On the left, click Color Filters

    Make sure no Color Filters are set

    Click Home, then go to Personalization - Themes

    Make sure the Default Windows Theme is set

    On the left, click Colors

    Set 'Choose your Color' to Custom

    Set Windows Mode to Dark

    Set App Mode to light or Dark

    Close the Settings App

    Change Default App Mode to Light or Dark Theme in Windows 10


    To get a "dark mode" for file explorer you need to use "Color Filter" in ease of access, and that will change all your color settings on the whole system, icons, wallpaper, settings, app color mode(need to switch to light so it will become dark) inclusive. what it does is just invert all color settings. After switching to invert, you will need to re theme your system.
