    Hi, I'm a Surface Pro with LTE user. I want to use both cellular and Wi-Fi simultaneously. But I cannot. I found in "View you network properties", cellular and Wi-Fi both got the IP address, but cellular "Connectivity(IPv4/IPv6): disconnected" while Wi-Fi is connected.


    My network:

    Wi-Fi: IPv4 only (10.1.2.3/24)

    cellular: IPv4 + IPv6 (10.5.6.7/24, 2408:9:8:7:6:5:4:3/64)

    cellular ON cellular OFF
    Wi-Fi ON
    everything goes through Wi-Fi,

    even I manually add route to cellular.

    I cannot ping/access any IPv6 site.

    go through Wi-Fi as desired
    Wi-Fi OFF go through cellular as desired, IPv6 is usable no network as desired


    What I expected:

    when connected to both Wi-Fi and cellular, visiting IPv4 sites through Wi-Fi, and visiting IPv6 sites fallback to cellular due to Wi-Fi doesn't have address.

    You might need to re-calculate your figures: because, I can tell you from experience the lawyer's take 35% to 45% of the total, in no fee schedule cases, like class action lawsuits.

    They shouldn't use the WiFi Assist when streaming and a few other reasons; quote from Apple's site:

    Opinion, here and below.
    I don't believe the lawsuit has any merit.
    What was Apple to gain by this... nothing, it was/is a feature of convenience for the consumer.
    The user of any consumer goods/devices, from chewing gum to fusion reactors, should be aware of the operating instructions and proper use of the devices in their possession.
    You (the public) have a brain use it... if you have a device, understand it's proper use. If that device is updated, read and understand the update and investigate/learn about any changes.
    Ask, if you don't know or understand.
    Don't be blaming others for your lack of understanding, or, not asking.

    I, actually, blame the user for laziness, in not finding out what is involved in using or upgrading to the OS, in this case or any other case as this.

    Heck, the one they should be bitching at is the ones who are profiting from this... the DATA PROVIDERS.
    I bet you a dime they knew all about this.

    Windows 10 deactivates cellular data when connected to wi-fi

    hello

    i need help

    i have a computer connected to my home wi-fi network ( without internet ) that i use it with my wireless printer. I want connect to internet with a usb stick ( cellular data ).

    The problem is that windows thinks that the internet is coming by wi-fi. How do i tell him to use cellular data and in the same time to stay connected by wi-fi?

    Data to restore: excessive data use, Wi-Fi & cellular

    Hi all. Am having a problem, possibly since Denim but not 100% sure) where the backup is using excessive data, both Wi-Fi and cellular. The first instance used over 1GB of cellular data over night (blew my limit). Microsoft support suggested I hard reset
    the phone and restore from backup which I did. In the 11 days since then the phone used another 1.6GB Wi-Fi and another 310MB cellular. This is despite one drive backup being configured for Wi-Fi backup only. With no other option I have now disabled all backups,
    which is suboptimal. Anyone else experienced this? The backup size on one drive is about 165MB so there is no reason I can see for it to be using so much data. Thanks.
