Windows 10: Data deleted from USB drive while downloading windows 10 iso file

I was trying to download Windows 10 via the USB option. However, when the download was finished, I noticed all my files in the USB such as excel, pdf, etc. have all been deleted and all that is left are the Windows 10 files. I would like to, if possible, restore everything in the USB that was lost. Is there anyway possible? I tried downloading paid version of easeUS software to recover the deleted files, but it's not working. Kindly help

Finding .IMG or .ISO file in Windows 8.1 Pro download

Hey guys,

In preparation for my new PC I downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro from Dreamspark, and I wanted to burn it to a DVD, so I can install it on the new PC.
However, in the downloaded files I can't find a .IMG or .ISO file anywhere. I understood that the .IMG file is the one you need to burn to the DVD?

Any suggestions?

Bootable USB with ISO - What am I missing?

Tried the first program, but it fails .. not sure yet why but troubleshooting that ...

The pendrive seems to be only for linux? although seems very useful i dont think it will help me with this. Keeping it for future linux installs though

hmmm if I already have the iso, do I just throw that in the usb drive?
