    When importing the recommended way using MS Photos, only a portion of the photos would be transferred from the iPhone to the PC. After that the app would not even see that the iPhone was there. So I used file explorer to copy photos from the iPhone DCIM folder to the PC hard drive. Half of the folders were copied, then it stopped with the message: data error cyclic redundancy check.I cannot decipher if this message is referring to the iPhone or to the Windows PC hard drive.The DCIM contents can still be seen, including the thumbnails. I tried copying individual photos, and got the same messa

    Hello, I recently disconnected one of my SSD hardrives then reconnected it soon after. I have been trying to initialize it but the "Data error ( cyclic redundancy check)" error shows up. All of the fixes online don't seem to have the same problem.
