  1. database error 0x410022D8 version 9180 when using macrium reflect.

Hi I have started browsing the forum and this error is something that occurs to file structure after updating to May 2020 ?

Last article I read was dated a couple of days ago.

My issue involves losing access to a Macrium restored backup folder, where I cannot gain access to the folder.

Is there a way to assign full priviledges?

I assume Windows thinks I am a different user as I backed up the folder before changing to the update, and I think before formatting and doing a fresh install, but post install of the Windows 10 May update, basically I didn't want the clutter of old installs on my disc, nor did I think I needed old downloads etc as they were to be backed up, 'keep nothing option' after initiating Macrium.

The computer was assigned a new name, since update, so I have tried all users having full priveledges only me and reverting the name from generic.

I have experienced similar problems previously when I lost access to folders on older versions of Windows 10 Home, I am now on Pro with the update.

I have had multiple administrators in the past and users although I built this computer and I am the only user ever on it, although I did assign a seperate user 'profile' for a work install of office 365 in December 2019.

Any help and whether I need to do a database rebuild would be appreciated as this was one suggestion I read a little about dont know how but willing to learn.

    Thanks

    :)

Event ID 642 - ESENT - "database format feature version 9180 (0x23dc) could not be used due to the current database format 1568.20.0"

Event Viewer shows me the following WARNING:

I think the solution has to do with a DB update or maybe an setting (JET...)

I know the different meanings of Event Viewer "warnings": Some say it can be ignored and others say there is nothing to ignore.
Do not ignore it, because following errors can also be caused by it or there are other errors "behind" which may be more profound.

Please let me inform you about some (basic) steps I have already done:

    • I have already run scf and DSIM commands to scan/repair.
    • I don' t want to create a new Administrator account and check if the problem persists.
    • I've already run PowerShell commands re-register the (standard) installed apps - Likewise, only for the video player app.
    • I don't want to do a clean restart (again, did not help; of course it doesn't help in this case).
    • Windows is up-to-date, no updates are needed.
    • Deleting the DB file in "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\Windows.edb" did not help.
    • Defragmenting of Windows.edb did not help.

There was also now no update from Windows, which could possibly be behind the problem (a possible, current, incompatibility).

Do you know how to fix this warning or a idea what could be the reason?

    Warm greetings

Question about ESENT Warnings Event 642

    Hello,

My Windows.old file is now gone and I have noticed a considerable drop of the ESENT errors 642. I did a Disk Clean up but I am seeing only "one group" of 6 ESENT errors containing these two below in that one group and they appear right after a restart.
Does anyone have any idea what these could be or how to get rid of them?

database error 0x410022D8 version 9180 when using macrium reflect.

Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect

In addition to the above. Here's my suggestion in step by step.
I assume you have Macrium Installed in your current HD and already made a backup copy.
    1. Connect your new HD via USB port and boot up.
    2. Run Macrium, click on Restore tab then select the Backup Image that you made to restore
    3. click on "select a different target disk" then select your new HD as destination

    4. Proceed to restore then Shutdown and disconnect the old HD and replace with the new HD
    5. Boot up with your new HD.
