Windows 10: Date Display issue in Downlaods Folder

Hello,


Recently, I started noticing that date for some of the files I'm downloading has been displaying the incorrect date. Instead of 2018-07-24 it's showing 2036-02-01. Thing is, if I move these files out of the download folder and into any other (even into a sub folder within the download folder) the day starts displaying correctly. Even when in the downloads folder, when I access the file properties the created date, modified date and accessed date all display correctly. I've already done some checks to confirm the system clock is correct and done a full virus scan. Can anyone figure out why this is happening and how to correct it?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Display Time and Date on Task Bar?

There are several reasons that can cause this issue you are experiencing. One of these is the date option is disabled in settings. For us to isolate your concern, kindly answer the following questions:

• Which build of Windows 10 are you using? To know about it, hit Start, type
  Winver, and then press Enter. You could also press
  Windows Key + R, type Winver into the Run dialog, and press
  Enter.
• Can you tell us if there are any changes made on your computer before this issue occurred?
• Did you have any third party mouse-related applications installed?

Furthermore, we suggest that you check if the date and time option is enabled. Here are the steps:

• Right-click on the Taskbar.
• Click Properties.
• Select Use Small Taskbar Buttons.
• Click on Apply and then OK.
• Now check if that display the date with the time on the notification area.

What exactly happens when you shut down the computer?



I would suggest you to try the following steps and check:

Step 1: Update the Display driver. Please follow the steps given below to update the display driver.

• Click Start and go to Run.
• In the Run prompt, type devmgmt.msc and then click
  OK.
• Device Manager will open.
• In Device Manager expand Display adapters.
• Right-click the display driver and click Update Driver Software.
• Select Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.

Step 2: Check if there are any updates for display drivers available in Optional Updates; this might fix the issue. Refer to the following steps.

• At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
• Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select Install optional updates from the left results.
• When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.

Step 3: If the issue persists, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Display driver. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the display driver.

• Open Device Manager.
• Expand Display adapters.
• Right-click the display card driver and click
  Uninstall.
• Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
• After the un-installation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.

Computer will load the generic display drivers. Now, please go to the manufacturer’s website, download and install the compatible display card drivers for your computer and check.
