Windows 10: Date is not anymore displayed time is ok on windows 10 date and time

Hello guys & girls,i customized date and time on the lower right corner on task bar of my windows 10.but the date seem to be too long to fit into date and time space, i customized time to display also the seconds and the short date to jjjj j MMM AAAA, but my issue is that now only the time shows up but not the date.i tried restarting explorer.exe process with no successi also tried to reduce size of date but only the width used for date and time get shorter but date still doesn't showi will reboot and see what happens or logout from my windows session and relog to see what happens

I suggest you to change the Date and Time format from Control Panel and check. Also select the time zone as UTC-5.00 Eastern Time.


After changing the setting, I suggest you to set “Windows Time” service as automatic. Follow the steps provided below.

• Press Windows logo Key + R key.
• Type services.msc
• Right click on Windows Time service.
• Select Properties.
• Under startup type drop down, change it to Automatic.
• Click on Apply button and OK button.

Restart your computer and check.

Date & Time display

I cannot see Date & Time display on task bar anymore after an update on Windows 10

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Display Time and Date on Task Bar?

There are several reasons that can cause this issue you are experiencing. One of these is the date option is disabled in settings. For us to isolate your concern, kindly answer the following questions:

• Which build of Windows 10 are you using? To know about it, hit Start, type
  Winver, and then press Enter. You could also press
  Windows Key + R, type Winver into the Run dialog, and press
  Enter.
• Can you tell us if there are any changes made on your computer before this issue occurred?
• Did you have any third party mouse-related applications installed?

Furthermore, we suggest that you check if the date and time option is enabled. Here are the steps:

• Right-click on the Taskbar.
• Click Properties.
• Select Use Small Taskbar Buttons.
• Click on Apply and then OK.
• Now check if that display the date with the time on the notification area.
