1) dv2410us HP laptop

2) Reliance netconnect broadband+ usb stick

3) nokia 5800 express music mobile phone

4) linksys wireless-G 2.4Ghz 54Mbps router WRT54G

5)airlink101 300N wireless router model AR680W

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

In below connectivity sequence, which one you are referring to?

1) broadband usb stick -> laptop -> cellphone

2) broadband usb stick -> laptop -> router -> cell phone

3) broadband usb stick -> router -> laptop, cellphone



I am fine with either of 1 or 2 but not with 3rd option, as the existing router which I have, did not have broadband usb connectivity.



if 1 or 2 options are workable solutions, can you provide direction/steps on the same?
