Windows 10: DAX3API.exe stopped working

Hello. I recently did a fresh re-install of Win 10, because I kept having trouble with installing Dolby drivers on the old install. The drivers on the old install kept disappearing by themselves and when I tried to install the officially recommended drivers for my PC Latest drivers recommended by Lenovo specifically for my device, they never installed even after saying they did. So I just decided to completely re-install Windows which I have been wanting to do for some time.When the fresh install of Windows booted up, I went straight into Edge and started downloading all the software I neede

It is possible that you .exe is not working due to corrupted system files or account. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

• Does this happen with a specific application or with all of your application?
• Have you tried creating a new admin account to check if the issue also with new account or only with the current account?

.exe has stopped working

You might be facing this issue due to the incompatibility of the program with Windows 10 also. So I suggest you to install the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Now, to install in Compatibility Mode, follow these steps:

a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.

b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.

c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8.1\ Windows 7 with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and
then click OK.

e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.
