  2. Stuck in Getting Windows Ready Loop

I've tried all the suggestions listed in the community forum on the issue.

My loop started in the middle of my day, not after update. I waited two and a half hours, then turned off and tried these tips. Every time I turn it on, it returns to the loop.

    What can I do?

  3. Updates stuck at 65% and waiting to install for days

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Community.

We understand your concern and we will provide our assistance to help you resolve the issue.

As you have stated that you have already ran Windows Update troubleshooter and tried to run the updates in Clean Boot, I would suggest that you try the methods suggested below and check if it helps rectify your issue.

    Method 1: Power Drain.

I suggest that you perform Power Drain as this will reboot your system and also remove the update loop that you are stuck in.

    • Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
    • Press and hold the Power button for 30sec.
    • Plug the charger/power cord and restart system.

Once you reboot your system, restart the update and check if the same issue occurs. If the issue persist then, proceed to check for services.

    Method 2: Windows Services

I would suggest that you check if the services associated with Windows Updates are enabled. To do so follow the steps below.

    a. Press Windows key + R, type "services.msc" in start run box and press
    Enter.

    b. Locate Windows Update service.

    c. Right click on the Windows Update service and select
    Properties.

    d. In Start-up type, select
    Automatic
    .

    e. Click Start under Service status.

    f. Click OK.

    g. Repeat the steps c to f for the following
    services also:

Background Intelligent Transfer Service, Windows Installer & Cryptographic Service.

Note: The startup type for Windows Installer will be greyed out by default.

    Hope this information helps

Day 2 of this loop i should wait or do something?

Mouse stopped working 2 days ago

    Hi,

There are a lot of possible reasons for this matter to occur. One possible cause is your
    drivers
    might be
    outdated
or the issue is within the
    device/hardware
itself. However, we need to make sure that it is the case. To isolate the issue, we have
    some questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made before the issue occurred?

    • Have you tried downloading and installing the latest driver update available in your computer/laptop manufacturer's
      website?

    • Have you tried using the device to another computer?

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

We suggest that you perform these
    methods of troubleshooting
and check if there are any changes:

Method 1: Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

To run the Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

    • On the search bar, type
      Troubleshooting
      and hit
      Enter.

    • Choose
      Hardware and Sound.

    • Click on
      Hardware and Devices
      to run the
      Troubleshooter.

    Method 2: Update your drivers.

To know how to update your drivers, click
    here.

    Method 3:
    Run SFC Scan.

    SFC
    will
    scan
    and
    run
    an
    automatic repair
    to any
    corrupted system files
that it will detect. We suggest that you perform it twice. To run an
    SFC scan, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt as Administrator.

    • Type
      sfc /scannow
      and hit
      Enter.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    Device Vendor manufacturer
    for further assistance.

Update us on how it goes.

    Regards.
