Windows 10: DDI version

Discus and support DDI version in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My Directx version is 11 but my DDi says 9ex, how do i fix this??... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Gaming' started by yurm9m, Jun 29, 2022.

    5870 DXDIAG DDI 10.1 Problem.....

    Holy crap I didnt know that ddi 10.1 was a problem*Big Grin DDI version :D
    I have ddi 10.1 too running single 5850!But I have not noticed any issues in dx11 games or anywhere else!but I also like to see ddi version 11! how can I get this fix or what seems to be missing?

    Dxdiag incorrectly reports DirectX 11 devices as DDI 10.1 when using Win 7

    There isn't a DX Version in the Display tab short of the DDI; so the DDI should give the best bet of an accurate DX version, according to my recent experiences with East's thread..
    If it's the DX version in the system tab hes talking about, well then that's just showing the OS's DX version afaik.

    DirectX 11 but the DDI is 10

    Laptop or Desktop ???

    I gather it may be a laptop.

    1. If its a Lenovo Desktop you could add a recent released dedicated Graphics Card.
    2. This would also depend on what type of case it is in, ( Slimline or standard type tower ).
    3. With most slimline cases one would need to purchase a low profile graphics card to suit.
    This would bring the DDI Ver up to 11.

    Snap below is of my dxdiag run on a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 650 which was first released around the end of 2012 into 2013.
