Windows 10: DDU trapped me in safe mode

Hi guys, I swapped my GPU today. Nvidia to amd. I found many people recommending DDU for clean installation of drivers, however I entered safe mode without internet connection. Now I can't escape

I can't put in my password, because my connection is off

I can't disable it through command bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot,. EDIT: also with {common} Because I can't access command prompt without password.

If I get to command prompt through booting with win10 installation USB, it also doesn't work.

EDIT: Also I can get into startup settings, but going to safe mode with internet is not working

I have no idea what can I do, please help me

DDU & Safe Mode

Thanks, I enabled the Safe Mode option in the DDU, and it will cause the system to reboot into Safe Mode, but I get a red "x" dialogue box that indicates that the DDU application file can't be accessed by the system in Safe Mode.

Hello Forum,

Well, now I've got a new HP laptop running Windows 10 Home, ver. 10.0.18363, and I'm forced to learn the OS. I needed to update my NVIDIA GeForce driver and I usually run the DDU in Safe Mode before I install the new GeForce driver package. I saved the DDU program to my desktop and it would not run in Safe Mode.

What do I need to do to run the DDU in Safe Mode?

That was an excellent thought. It worked. I have the DDU program in its own folder on C:\ and the a folder for the downloaded GeForce driver. When the DDU booted the system to Safe Mode, the DDU program was up and running.
