In my Microsoft family account I have some children. Each child has access to a number of devices. All this works fine. However, until recently each child was also still signed in on a number of obsolete devices that either died or were wiped and given away. To keep things tidy, and aware of the limits on the number of devices for Windows store, I went into each child account and removed the devices that were no more. Unfortunately this for some inexplicable reason had the effect of making a big red error message for all four of these non-existent devices appear under each child on the family page, so that the page now mostly consists of these red and pointless errors: "Update your family member's Windows 10 device <device name> to get family features to work." Some of these devices have been dead and gone for years, and yet there was no warning to update them until they were actually removed from the accounts!! There's a helpful little link "Tell me how to fix this" which pops up a little message describing how to update Windows. But it doesn't tell me how to update Windows on devices that no longer exist... They are not included in the devices for each child on the family page right under the errors nor in the pop-up list of devices there. Going into the child accounts individually confirms the devices are no longer registered. Yet on the family page the errors still show... How can I get rid of them?

    :)

  2. Missing Achievement - Red Dead Redemption

Old game i know... i have been recently playing and enjoying Red Dead Redemption after hearing of the up and coming sequel. Playing tonight, i had an achievement register on screen 'Instinto Asesino' but it has failed to show as unlocked in my achievement
    list for this game.

Is there anyway this can be sorted out?, i try and score achievements and its annoying when this happens

  3. red X by audio after 1709 update - audio device gone in device manager.

Just updated to 1709, and got a red X by the speaker symbol. All instructions say "manually update the driver, or, de-install / re-install, or perform an automatic update... there's nothing to de-install / re-install and update. I was going to manually update
the inf driver, but there is no audio or sound speaker symbols listed in my device manager - gone!

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks
