    "dead" SD card


    Hello guys! I have a SD card in my phone that suddenly stopped working. I tried to insert it in my PC but the PC didn't "see" it. Can I get back my data? I had lots of photos.

    i have installed windows xp sp2

    previously i was using windows media center i thought i might b facing this probs due to that but then i changed it to windows xp ! n moreover i have also shown to nokia service center executives but they were not having the latest updates available ......
    my pc suite is showing that new update version of firmware is available but i cudnt download it "dead" SD card :(

    oh gawd wat to do ? "dead" SD card :(

    i tried in another pc then again i got an error u need to have minimum 256 ram "dead" SD card :(

    please cant it b rectified ? there must b any solution to this probs please help me guyz

    Is that a standard size SD or SDHC card or is it a MicroSDXC card? My phones and small tablets use the MicroSDXC card and require an adapter to fit in a Desktop or Notebook card reader. I have had that adapter [usually comes with the MicroSDXC card] go bad while the card itself was still good. If the phone cards work like the SD/SDHC cards in a camera, one doesn't want to reformat it in a computer.
