  1. Deadly update of Windows 10 kills itself becoming too safe

The automatic update of Windows 10 created a deadly combination for system software 17th of January 2017:
    * it does not boot from C: drive although the disk is ok
    * it does not let you to do nothing with mouse
    * it starts - and always - automatic online updates which
will not succeed because it has replaced working non MS
network drivers with new non working MS net drivers!
    * it does not let you do nothing with keyboard i.e you can
not go to command mode not to anything

F8 safe mode lets one in i.e it seems to work as before
but this 17th January 2017 does not offer possibility for any safe configuration without non working updates result being so safe workstation nobody can use i.e totally unuseful!

Booting from Windows 8.1 Pro and going to safe mode with F8
does not let you to install Windows 8.1 Pro - only to continue with Windows 10 and only with this non workin 17 January 2017 non working update!

To be seen whether there will ever become any working Windows 10 release for some hardware configuration not based on MS network drivers and MS display drivers - and having had challenges to get two monitor systems to work with Windows 10
expectations are not high even if bootable/installable DVD will be available (hoping not to pay for those configurations having Windows 8.1 Pro already paid!

Any feedback and tip related to this thread more than welcome!

    :)

Maybe someone can assist you, but your post made absolutely no sense to me. None.

Could you maybe rephrase that a little.

Just do a system restore at first boot, or re image with the image we know you created before the update *Smile

What version of W10 were you using when this happened ?

Are you saying this was an upgrade from Windows 8.1 ???

And please fill in the specs of the PC this happened on.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti by MSI <-- HDMI <-- ok with NVidia 341.81 ...drivers/never with MS drivers

    CPU
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition <-- ok for Windows 10 - at least until 17th of January 2017
    Cache L1: 512Kb

    Cache L3: 6Mb
Speed: 3200 MHz NB clock: 2000MHz
