Windows 10: Death in Family - Subscription Expiring

Hello, My dad passed last year and our subscription services is expiring. I don't have the credentials and my Mom needs to sign into the account to re-up the subscription. I've tried to call support and its AI generated - absolutely not helpful at all. Does anybody know how to get in contact with someone to help with this?

My personal subscription has expired and have been added to a family subscription. I have no access to Office 365. How do I activate office in the family subscription?

My subscription expired. I had been added to a family subscription before it expired. I expected it to roll over into the family subscription. I can see my profile in the family subscription but I have no access to Office 365. When I go to packages and subriptions in my account it offers me a new subscription package. When I follow other prompts like signing into Office 365 it keeps going back to setting up Office. I left it running overnight it still didn't finish.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

• What do you mean by " I had 365 but downgraded to just Office"? did you switch to a different version of Office license?
  
• Please specify the version and edition of your active Office license right now, for example. Microsoft 365 Personal or Office 2019
  

To resolve this issue, please try the following steps:



1. Make sure that you're signed in to Office with the correct Microsoft account that you used to purchase the subscription.



2. Check your subscription status by going to account.microsoft.com/services website and signing in with the same account you used to purchase the subscription. From there, you can see if your subscription is active or expired.



3. If your subscription is active, try signing out of Office and then signing back in. This should refresh your subscription status.
