Windows 10: Decent WiFi but slow download speeds

I have two computers in my house that I use, one of the laptop and one is a desktop. My desktop has a Z690 maximus hero as the motherboard with the latest Intel drivers and my laptop is an old Asus laptop that I don’t know what motherboard it has, the CPU in my desktop is an I-9 12900K while the CPU in my laptop is an I-7 like 1200H or something like that and for some reason the fastest download I can get on my desktop is about 35 MB on Steam while my laptop can reach like 200 MB on Steam I have 250Mb WiFi. I’ve tried Microsoft forums and YouTube and nothing seems to fix it. The most recent t

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.
  
• You may plug in the Ethernet cable if available and check the speed.

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
