Windows 10: Deconnection of external DD

    Deconnection of external DD


    Hello,

    I have on western digital DD on network, western digital external DD on USB as well as Seagate external DD on USB port.

    I cannot disconnect my external DD. With western digital, we took of all western digital programs, reboot pc, disconnect WIFI, disconnect anti virus program, disconnect western digital process, however, I still cannot disconnect any kind of external DD as I get a message that says the Disk is still used by program or process. The Led ist flashing like DD is working.

    We put back all Western digital program, and reactivate process.


    It works with USB key but still does not work to deconnect external DD.


    Does someone have and idea to help ?

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    Deconnection of external DD

    Format of date - DD MM YYYY

    Well actually it was only there in the Regional settings list as DD/MMM/YYYY format which gave months in the JAN/FEB etc format.

    If you want the DD/MM/YYYY form you have to hand edit the option to DD/MM/YYYY format and it seems to work for all programs.
