Windows 10: decryption

I had encrypted some files and folders in my windows 10 previous version and transferred to a pendriveremovable drive.But after installing the latest window 10 version2020 update, when I am trying to decrypt those files and folders but it's not happening.I have tried to decrypt these files and folders through the "properties" option where the encrypt option is greyed out and marked also.So i cannot change anything.How can I decrypt?

please help me out.

AFAIK it's still not possible to decrypt your files for free...

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue.

1. Open the command prompt as admin.
   
2. Type in manage-bde –off <drive> and hit
   Enter.
   
   manage-bde –resume <drive>
   

manage-bde –on <drive>

Replace Drive by drive letter

1. Restart the computer and check the status of the issue
