Windows 10: Default action for basic image files is print.

I just noticed this problem when I upgraded to windows 11. When I search for a specific image using the windows key, and hit enter, it goes to "print pictures," but I just want it to open with photos. I right clicked the image files and saw that print was at the top in bold. I have not found any way to fix this.

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps below to print documents in the Windows 10 Edge browser and check if it helps:

  Once the document is open in Edge, press
  Ctrl+P or More actions button at the top last end of the browser.

  Click Print as PDF button.
  
• 
  Check if the document prints as expected.
  

If the above steps did not work, try the next methods.

Method 2: Set your printer as default.

  Press Windows key and type
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view by and select large icons.
  
• 
  Open Devices and printers.
  
• 
  Right click on your printer and select set a default printer.

Windows 10 default image viewer

I suggest you to follow the below steps in order to change the default image viewer to Paint.

• In search,
• Type Default Programs.
• Check whether Windows Photo Viewer is listed in the list.
• Left click on the photo viewer and select the option paint.

Microsoft Edge "Print Email" not working

  Open MS Edge and click on more actions [...]

  Click on Settings and select
  Print.

  Choose your printer from the list and check if you are able to print.
